Diversity & Inclusion Program for Clients
To ensure Trauma Centre Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) is accessible and inclusive for all survivors of complex and developmental trauma, we offer a number of places for participants to join our online TCTSY classes free of charge. These places are offered on an individual needs-basis for those who may be unable to pay the monthly fees or registration.
If this is something you are interested in applying for, you are welcome to contact us via email at info@traumasensitiveyoganederland.com to discuss your situation and together we can find a solution to continue sharing and practising TCTSY.
Our vision is to create a Trauma-Informed community practise, that is built on equality and educating ourselves on diversity. Trauma-Sensitive Yoga should never be an exclusive practice that is only accessible for a certain percentage of our society. We want to encourage any gender, race, social and economic status, ability, religion, sexual orientation and gender identity to feel part of our community, so we can create a safe haven for everyone participating. In this safe haven, we strive to create a space in which discrimination, racism, sexism and power dynamics are unacceptable.
Alternatively, if you identify as an ally and would like to offer support through not only offering community, but also financial means; donations are much appreciated. These donations are solely meant for the purpose of bringing Trauma Sensitive Yoga practice to every single person that lives with complex trauma and C-PTSD. Your donation will also impact on our community. As a result, our community will become as diverse as our society already is. Show your support for the diversity program by donating an amount each month, or a one-off payment. Every donation is welcome and by doing so, you will be able to bring Trauma Sensitive Yoga to someone who wouldn’t otherwise be able to take part in our community.
Thank you for creating this community together.
