Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY)

Trauma-sensitive yoga creates a safe place for individuals to connect with their bodies and breathe concerning their trauma. Developed by David Emerson at the Justice of Resource Institute (JRI) in Boston, MA, Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) serves as a highly effective adjunctive and complementary treatment for individuals grappling with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or complex developmental trauma.

Trauma-Senstive Techniques

Throughout the TCTSY practice, participants are encouraged to notice bodily sensations, empowering them to make informed choices about their movements and actions based on their individual experiences. This approach fosters a supportive environment without physical or hands-on assistance.

Body-centred Exploration

The practice integrates choice and body-centred self-awareness to initiate the healing process, allowing individuals to re-establish a connection with their bodies and the present moment. The language used during sessions is inviting and encourages curiosity, prompting the exploration of bodily sensations. Gradually, participants witness the positive effects of their actions and choices.

Price & Online Schedule

The price for the online sessions is €52.50 including VAT for the entire duration of one (1) month, allowing you to participate once a week, twice a week, or even more frequently.
