Testimonials
“I am incredibly happy to have completed this training. It clearly highlighted what TCTSY is all about and provided me with concrete tools to use in my practice. The fact that it is applicable to everyday life (even if you’re not working with people) is an added value. In my opinion, it is more than a standalone yoga method; it’s a philosophy for life.”
– Silvia Rossel, Belgium, welkomthuiscoaching, 2024
“The TCTSY foundational training is a must for yoga teachers who wish to offer trauma-sensitive yoga. It provides deeper insight into trauma from a professional perspective. Moreover, Esther van der Sande is a fantastic and warm trainer who shares her knowledge enthusiastically, drawing from her experience as a trauma-sensitive yoga instructor.”
– Mirjam van der Veen, Ayurvedic and Yoga Therapist & Yogacentrum Leeuwarden, 2023
“I can highly recommend this training for anyone facilitating yoga sessions. It provides a valuable foundation in trauma theory and substantial practical knowledge to support more trauma-informed yoga. It has truly helped me to offer more gentle, supportive, and appropriate sessions to LGBTI asylum seekers and refugees. It has also changed how I think about relating to people outside the yoga mat – I truly believe the world would be a kinder place if everyone took this training!”
– Louisa Borg Costanzi, online training, 2022
“Dear Esther,
Once again, thank you so much for the wonderful three days. I am so happy and grateful to have experienced these days with you and the group. For now, I’m letting everything settle in so that, as you beautifully said, I can sprinkle it into sharing lessons and everyday life.”
– W. van Leiden, training 2023
